After discussing this idea with a handful of key members, we've come up with an idea regarding the purchase of an HPA compressor and maintenance costs. Here's how it will work...
If any member of the Combat Paintball Group who donates $40, they will get free air for the year. the fallowing year they will only pay a $5 maintenance fee per event from there on.
If any member of the Combat Paintball Group who donates $100 or more, they will get free air for 5 years and no maintenance fee for two years. At the beginning of the third year, the member will only pay $3 maintenance fee for the next three years and at the end of the 5 year period, the member will only pay $2 for compressed air per event from there on.
Here's the bummer, if no one donates, we will have to raise the HPA and co2 cost up to recoup our out-of-pocket monies spent. We want everyone to play as cheap as possible, and we already provide a free place to play, but we're not about to foot the entire bill for a $2500 dollar compressor. That ain't happening
Just to give you a little incite on our plans...we had a member come out and little did we know that he has a friend that lives in cherry glen(between vacaville and fairfield) that has a 185 acres that hes been thinking about using it for woodsball. We thought that that would be awesome - the group would grow exponentially if we could come to an agreement(property owner and Combat Paintball Group).
If that happened, we're most definitely going to need a gas powered HPA compressor. Because our games will grow form having only 10 to 20 players to having maybe 50 to 100 players at a single event. you can imagine how exciting that would be.
Combat paintball Group could quickly become the largest paintball group with their own fields in Ca. Players would come form everywhere! We need this guys! this is a great sport we are dedicated to keeping it as cheap as possible for our members. We want everyone to have a chance to try this sport without breaking the bank.
There are a handful of us who can come up with about $12-$1300,00 bucks and if everyone else would do a little, we would have free air for the rest of this season and be prepared for the big games ahead!
If I can get you guys to respond, I'll setup a donation credit card processor to make it easy to donate. It can't get any any easier guys.
So lets hear it. are we buying a compressor or not?
