Paintball grenades tactical advantage or unfair advantage? I know these things are expensive, ive bought 4 of them and that cost me 25.00, so is it fair to use them in a game knowing most people wont or cant afford to spend the $ to have them? Actually do we even allow them in our games? Ill have to run that one by brian. what do you guys in the combat paintball world think. I have split feeling on it. on one hand its not really fair if one team has them and not the other. on the other hand we are not all using the same markers either some of us can afford better markers than other and that gives them a tactical advantage, so why not even the playing feild with some grenades? afterall in a real combat scenario we arent asking the enemy if they have rockets or jets and if they want us to not use ours right. I guess im really itching to use one so im trying to talk my self into it. give me your opinions. |

Dude, anything and everything is allowed. Just as long as no one gets hurt. I have a great idea about a trip-wire land mine. Maybe I'll have it for the next game. |

that would be cool as heck, they sell them on line too, some are 1 time things but some are refillable, they even have a clamore mine that you bury and it shoots out a stream of paint if you step on it. I actually have 4 tippmann squad busters right now that im rearing to use. I also saw a grenade on line that was called a trap grenade, you leave it on the ground like in a bunker and one of the enemy spots it and thinks that you dropped it so they pull the pin to throw it at you and it blows in there hand! |

Woa...thats cool. My buddy and I a few weeks back captured the flag by means of grenande. SpecOps accidently sent me one so my buddy and I vowed to snag the flag by clearing out a base with it. Sure enough some kooks were loaded in the bunker and we dumped that sucker right on point. Poor fools all had to go. We turned on the jets, gripped the flag, and tactically rallied up back to base for the win. It was a sweet moment in grenande application history. |

How do you refill them? What type of paint do you use? I have never used or even seen one up-close. Look like fun though. |

Well, the grenades are one-time use only so they're a little on the expensive side. But on the other hand our tower grenade launchers fire water balloons which are extremely cheep. |

Using water balloons have the same effect, but don't make as big as a miss. and the economics just make since. |

Yes water ballons are the best Idea from the towers . but on the ground they would likely pop in you carriers so the one time grenades are good to, but as you say expensive. as far as the gunmounted launchers go those dont actually shoot grenades they actually have a shell that is full of .48 cal paintballs and shoot a volley of the in one shot, like a shot gun but bigger. |
